Indianapolis Colts Tickets - Colts Act in Light of Injuries

August 29, 2010 by Stub_Hub

The regular season hasn't even started, but the Indianapolis Colts are making sure they will not be devastated by injuries. The team was dealt the news that veteran Safety Jamie Silva will be out for the rest of the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee, which he injured in the Colts' first preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Aug. 15.

Silva had been with the Colts since he entered the league in 2008. In two seasons, he played in 25 games and tallied 47 tackles and two passes defended.

Indianapolis Colts Tickets - Colts Need Better Backup Quarterback

August 27, 2010 by Stub_Hub

Peyton Manning might be a six-five, 230-pound quarterback with a laser rocket arm, but at the end of the day he's not invincible (though Colts fans tend to believe he is). Manning's reign with the Indianapolis Colts is secure as long as he's healthy, but it's the worst-case scenario that has Horse fans a little uneasy right now - and rightfully so.

In the very unlikely case that something should happen to Manning this season, snaps will go to his understudy, second-year backup Curtis Painter.

Dallas Cowboys Tickets - Analyzing the Cowboys' Injured Offense

August 27, 2010 by Stub_Hub

The Dallas Cowboys have had high expectations for the 2010-11 NFL season ever since drafting explosive wide receiver Dez Bryant in April. The 'Boys are coming off an 11-5 season last year with a solid postseason run to the divisional round in the playoffs, and they've been preparing for an even better season this year with Tony Romo leading the way.

While the Cowboys have the formula to success waiting to be put into play, a few offensive injuries have been setbacks hindering the team from coming out of the gates strongly so far this season.

August 27, 2010 by Stub_Hub

The New York Jets faced off against the New York Giants in a preseason opener that saw Eli Manning exit the game with a bloody wound, but even with a kick to the head the Giants still managed to trump the Jets with a 31-16 victory in the Aug.

Houston Texans Tickets - Texans Filled with Fantasy Potential in '10

August 27, 2010 by Stub_Hub

With arguably the best quarterback-receiver combination in the league, the Houston Texans should be very difficult to stop all season long in 2010. Even if they don't challenge Indy for the division title, as some have predicted, they should still make a run at the playoffs due to their solid group of offensive talent. Here's a look at their top fantasy guys in 2010.

Andre Johnson, Wide Receiver:
After having 100 catches and 1,500 yards each of the last two seasons, AJ is the consensus number one pick at the receiving position.

Cleveland Browns Tickets - Delhomme Gives the Browns Legitimacy

August 27, 2010 by Stub_Hub

Ok, so Jake Delhomme isn't exactly Drew Brees or Peyton Manning. But even though Delhomme won't be mistaken for a top-tier quarterback in many circles, he's also a veteran familiar enough with the position to get the Browns passing attack on target. Here's how the offense breaks down in terms of fantasy football viability.

Jerome Harrison, Running Back:
Let's be honest; nobody knew who Jerome Harrison was heading into the 2009 NFL season. Actually, not many people knew who he was prior to his explosion in weeks 15, 16 and 17.

U.S. Open Tennis Tickets - Serena Williams Is Iffy for 2010 U.S. Open

August 27, 2010 by Stub_Hub

It's hers for the taking, but Serena Williams might not be able to snag her fourth U.S. Open title this year, after all. Williams, the current world No. 1 on the WTA, is a consistent front-runner in Grand Slam tournaments, but an injury has forced her to reevaluate her standing going into the month of August.

Williams is after her third Grand Slam championship in 2010 after winning both Wimbledon and the Australian Open this year, but her hot streak came to a screeching halt in mid-July when she cut her right foot on broken glass at a restaurant.
