Freedom to Play the Game

Freedom is what changed the world. In the beginning of time man was a slave to his hunger, until he developed the capacity to think and to create solutions, so that he would not have to hunt for food and live meagerly from day to day.

As soon as man was able to think he was able to ascertain power, which led to many great and marvelous things. Conversely, it also led to men enslaving other men.

Now days, there are no slaves like there used to be, people do not spend their entire life working to build a monument to one man. When people began to realize that freedom was necessary for innovation is just around the time that games started to be created.

The first game in history marks the point in time when people actually had enough time to sit down and deal with discretionary time, not only deal with it but doing so in a freeway. As people become more developed and more understanding of games, so do games also develop.

Culture is reflected in the games that are played. By looking at the types of games that people play you can access a lot of different information about them.

Freedom comes from two places. First it comes from conscious thought; your ability to think and put your thought into action is going to turn into freedom to act.

Those that cannot think do not have the freedom or ability to act upon thought. Second place it comes from is opportunity.

Opportunity is much higher in some places than others, for example someone in America can choose whether they want to play billiards or throw rocks for fun. Some indigenous African may not have the opportunity to play billiards.

Luckily for the world there is the internet which spreads information freely, so, even though not everyone has the internet now, in the near future everyone will have access to it. A place where they can learn of any game they want, where they can take information and integrate into their own thought, a place where freedom is expanded and spread by way of knowledge.

Using the internet to find new games is a great way to keep yourself entertained. So long as there is freedom, without regulation, in the internet so too will men be free.
