Why Experience Balloon Flights?

If you are anything like me then you will probably be afraid of a few things that people love, such as extreme sports. Heights, jumping and flying these are some of the many things that interest me and I am certain are amazing to experience but yet am too scared to try.
That is when I saw an advert from a company that was offering balloon flights and I found something that I would be up for trying.
Although I am rather nervous about heights I have found that the three balloon flights I have now experienced did not worry me. I did feel slightly worried as we ascended into the sky but the view was so beautiful once I was up there I forgot about feeling worried. Because the balloon floated up and felt so light I really did not feel as concerned as I thought I may have been. This is an experience that everyone should try in their life; there really is nothing like it or close to it.
Since my first time I have now tried several different balloon flights and if there is anyone considering trying it I have a few tips to make sure you get the most from it. The first is that flights are extremely popular due to season so if you want to go on a summer's day then you need to be prepared to pay more for your trip and book in advance.
The next is to be aware that you need to dress practically for balloon flights; it will be colder the further you climb the altitude. A good, sensible coat will be important and so will suitable shoes there is no point wearing heels as you will find getting in and out of the basket a real challenge. If you are unsure about how prepared you need to be for your trip, then it is worth asking the trained instructor who will be with you beforehand, they will know exactly what you need for your flight.
Finally, it is always an amazing experience to take your balloon flight early in the morning or last afternoon. That way you can watch the sun come up over the rolling countryside or watch as the sun comes down. Either trip is very beautiful and will make your experience even more spectacular. Usually you will able to take a bottle of champagne with you on your journey and is well worth doing as you will remember your flight forever.
